CAD Operator

OPEN to fresh out graduates looking for their career in CAD Drafting. We are seeking a CAD operator to assist in the designing of park and playground equipment. This role will include creating, updating and modifying drawings for engineering use, factory production, and or customer use; will work with other engineering personnel to develop drawings and the media library; role will work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or Government drawings or specifications.
The position will work under the guidance of a Project Engineer to create shop drawings, 3D models, and documentation packages for steel and wood shelters (example: open-air pavilions as seen in a public park). Candidates will be asked to create shop drawings and work with document libraries.
Required:
-Diploma or Certificate of Training in Drafting Technology
-AutoCAD
-3D CAD (Solidworks, Pro E, Inventor, or Other similar CAD System)
Preferred:
-3
Years of drafting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
-Experience in creating shop drawings, working with document libraries, welding, fabrication, construction
-Solidworks Highly preferred.
-Will work on drawings, go to shop floor to help assemblers with any issues and make adjustments to the drawings.
Will need own safety shoes; best fit is someone with SolidWorks training or experience (most likely a mechanical drafter); Will consider freshouts!

Hours & Shift: M-F 8-5
