The
manager
, Warehouse & Logistics will oversee and manage the receiving, storage, and shipping of finished goods and raw materials that are located in the warehouse, maintain operational profitability and customer service by meeting standards for all warehousing functions and shipping processes (orders out on time in full) and monitoring equipment for good operation. Additionally, they will provide direct supervision over warehouse personnel and will have overall responsibility for warehouse management, receiving, replenishment activities, finished goods management, freight activities, safety training, personnel training and controlling the shipping process at the facility. They will also be responsible for the enforcement of regulatory standards regarding safety, quality, and housekeeping.

The primary responsibilities of the
position
include the following:

Optimizes the receiving, replenishment, shipping, and warehousing throughput while achieving key performance indicators in a safe environment.
Drives process and technology improvement initiatives to help the operational effectiveness of the facility and the department. Identifies and recommends improvement objectives in the operations area of the warehouse organization to eliminate waste and non-conforming product and result in more consistent and efficient flow.
Helps to develop and maintain measurement systems to accurately track key performance parameters and to implement corrective actions that resolve the problems and issues. Distributes status reports to all required personnel.
Works closely with the warehouse on receipts, storage, product ID and to resolve all discrepancies.
Coordinates logistics and transport. Schedules outbound shipments of products to maintain on time shipments for Inco's customers.
Works with freight lines to help Inco maintain a high level of service utilizing the CATALYST warehouse management system.
Responsible for managing finish goods inventory levels at Medline Branches and third-party distribution warehouses to meet customer demand.
Maintains inventory integrity through training and implementation of proper techniques and through use of cycle counts.
Controls excess inventory and raw material component scrap levels.
Supervises all personnel and operations in assigned area, maintaining thorough knowledge of all processes (
computer
system, freight tracking, cycle counting), equipment, trouble shoots problems, and reports any process and equipment problems.
Conducts performance appraisals and development plans;
Establishes goals and objectives for reporting staff to ensure company objectives are being met.

Requirements for this position are as follows:

BS/BA in related field.
At least 5 years experience in supply chain, warehousing and/or logistics.
Experience utilizing warehousing and materials management technology (ex. robot palletizing system, ASRS).
Experience working with MMP, MRP AS400 and SAP type programs.
At least 2 years of management experience to include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
Excellent communication, written and verbal skills.
Strong analytical skills; ability to problem solve complex situations with minimal supervision.
Advanced personal computer skills (i.e. MS Office)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
