Join our team asCost Analyst. In this role you will be responsible to coordinate/execute various activities to ensure product costing integrity. Analyze empirical data to assess and up-date product costing elements. Assist in managing the routing and cost models. Coordinate communication between ERP, Finance, Cost
accounting
, and the various global manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for the following duties:
Analyze empirical data to evaluate actual performance to standards to set/update standard allowances
Evaluate current manufacturing yield reporting
practices
compared to std
Validate and propose adjustments to standard conversion costs
Develop knowledge of routing and formula functionality in Movex/M3 and assume some of the maintenance responsibilities
Create work center summary reports for Cost Accounting to perform monthly summary evaluations of the various operations
In conjunction with manufacturing, develop & monitor KPI's to evaluate overall effectiveness of our manufacturing operations
Establish processes to educate various personnel on standards development. Explain cost concepts of actual/standard/earned comparisons
Collaborate with various persons from Manufacturing, ERP, Cost Accounting, and Finance to improve the continuity of existing reports including standardized terminology and improved understanding of cross-functional activities
Coordinate/execute daily, monthly, and annual scheduled and ad-hoc material cost roll upsRequirements
Support the Annual Development of Work Center Rates
Collect information on materials and hours from each US plant's shop floor and document reporting as it relates to financial reporting
