We are currently recruiting a Commercial Lines - Customer Service Representative to work at our Norwich, New York headquarters.
Provide sales and service support of small to medium sized business by working to process new business and retain renewals. This
position
may assume specialized industry or task assignments as needed within the team. Work closely with sales team to offer additional insurance products to existing and potential customers. Works with colleagues in a team based environment.
Valid Property and Casualty License required
Six months minimum commercial lines insurance customer service experience required
Agency Management System experience preferred
Accredited CSR certification preferred
High School diploma or equivalent work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer
Strong customer service mentality and ability to set and meet customer expectations
Willingness to work within a team environment to support other team members and share responsibilities
Working knowledge of Agency Management System
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to multi-task with attention given to detail
Effective problem solving techniques
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Ability to travel regionally
