Title: Senior Service Engineer
Primary Skills: Performs support activities which include; service requests, incident resolution, enhancements
Location: Redmond, WA
Rate: , # of Positions: 1, Duration: 5 months
Description:
Mandatory Technical Skills
o Performs support activities which include; service requests, incident resolution, enhancements
o Production support, system monitoring, and analysis reporting application and system process evaluation
o Consults with developers, business analysts, and end users and will apply systems analysis techniques
o Procedures to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications
o Will document, analyze, and periodically test
computer
systems or programs based on defined system design specifications
o Provides continuity planning and support administering network backup systems design and implementation
o Works in conjunction with the technical resources - 3-4 years of production support experience managing enterprise applications
o Strong experience in SQL Administration including performance tuning, TSQL, Troubleshooting and data analysis, installations, and restoration and recovery strategies. DW experience preferred.
o Ability to analyze live-site issues quickly and possess a thorough understanding of client/server architectures and high-availability clustered environments
o Strong knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, SQL, Clustering, and Load Balancing is required. (Exchange, Virtual Machines, SCOM preferred)
o Experience with HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, VBScript desired
o Outstanding customer service/focus skills required
o Exposure to MOF/ITIL processes are desired
