Job Description
The Security & Compliance Senior Engineer is responsible to assist in the development and maintenance of a security program for Operational Cyber System (OCS) based systems defined as plant control systems, instrumentation, protection, alarm and monitoring,
engineering
networks, SCADA, telecommunication, remote workstations, control centers, etc. This includes assistance in the generation of an OCS Security Program to include policies, plans, guidelines, procedures, processes, periodic review and update, as well as auditing activities to help insure business needs and regulatory requirements are met. This also includes OCS and Electrical Engineering (EE ) based system monitoring and support for issue identification, investigation, resolution, and reporting as required. This position id identified as a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) related position which may allow physica

/or logical access to Bulk Electric System (BES) cyber related assets or systems. This position may allow acces to privleged information relating to such assets or systems. This position will be required to strictly adhere to all Basin Electric policies, procedures, and programs applicable to the Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements.
Required Skills
Requires frequent sitting; and occasional standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crawling, use of keyboard/

, pushing/pulling and lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds. Requires finger dexterity, good hearing, color vision, and the ability to perform close work. Requires the ability to analyze data/reports and conduct research; implement recommendations; develop plans, procedures, and goals; and present information to others. May be required to work under pressure due to conflicting priorities and deadlines. Occasionally works in conditions of dirt/dust, fumes, chemicals, extreme heat and cold, vibration, noise, poor ventilation, electrical risks, and confined areas. Travel is required, either by operating a motor vehicle or traveling in Cooperative or commercial aircraft. Equipment operated includes computers, telecommunication devices, electrical test equipment, and normal shop tools.
Required Experience
The incumbent must have a Bachelor s degree in an ABET accredited, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering program and 12 years of experience with plant control systems and/or LAN/WAN networking. Applicant must have a PE; CCNA or willingness to obtain. CCDP, GIAC preferred. Incumbent must have knowledge in hardware, software, network security and configuration. Knowledge of plant control systems and ethernet switch's, routers, firewalls, instrusion detection systems, network monitoring tools, protocol analyzers, and security appliances and familiarity with NERC CIP Standards is preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft office.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
