Summary
This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Solutions
manager
, and works normal business hours.
Core Requirements
The successful candidate for the Solutions Specialist role will, at a minimum, possess the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems,
computer
Science, or similar, with a demonstrated business focus -or- a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar, with a demonstrated technology focus
Demonstrated experience applying technology in a business setting
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage large amounts of detailed information
Demonstrated customer focus
Demonstrated proficiency in several of the following core technologies:
Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and InfoPath
Microsoft SharePoint
Microsoft SQL Reporting
services
Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Knowledge of and experience with some of the following core platform features and business processes:
Records Retention
Business Process Re-engineering and Automation o Social Networking
Business Intelligence and Analysis of Corporate Data
Information Taxonomy Development and Maintenance
System and Data Governance
Knowledge of business process analysis and improvement methodologies

Functions
The Solutions Specialist will:
Participate with other Solutions Team members to engage key stakeholders at clients and prospective clients as assigned to qualify potential sales opportunities
Participate in group discussions and engage stakeholders from all functional areas of the client's business, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in one-on-one and group settings; Engage client staff to define, refine, validate, and document business requirements
Map client business requirements to potential technology-based solutions, and identify opportunities for additional process improvements
Work with other Solutions Team members to develop project proposals, plans, and timelines, including estimates of client and Nexus staff effort required for completion
Provide high-quality solutions and deliverables within defined timelines
