Our client, a leader in the advertising space is seeking to hire a Senior Interactive Designer to join their team in King of Prussia. The Senior Interactive Designer will be responsible for look and feel, conceptual and visual development, and final execution of design directions. In addition, the Senior Designer will assist in asset creation and presentation preparation. The ideal candidate will have creative flair and thrives on expanding his/her skill base to include design for static, dynamic, and interactive websites and digital marketing efforts.
This person should possess a myriad of design skills ranging across visual design, interaction design, and typography. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of technology, hands-on front-end development skills and will enjoy evaluating the user experience integration and functionality fruits of his/her labor.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for the design evolution of pages and visual elements of web and mobile websites, banners, emails, mobile apps, presentations, style-guides, print promotions and other projects where design language has and has not been established
Creates adaptations and extensions of original designs for different aspect ratios, scales, and environments
Creates and challenges original designs based on existing templates
Executes design work and production assets that meet defined quality standards in a timely manner
Assist to further develop standards, methodologies and repeatable processes for delivery of creative
services
Requirements:
Demonstrated proficiency in the formal elements of design, including typography, layout, balance, proportion, rhythm, emphasis and unity
Excellent skills with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and InDesign
Solid understanding of the technical side of web development, including working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive layouts, grid systems, and other technologies
Understanding of design limitations for CMS based websites
Ability to create original designs based on wireframes/sketches as needed
Professional desire to efficiently deliver quality designs
Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational skills with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills are a must as is the ability to interface with clients on a regular basis
Enthusiasm to be ahead of the ever-evolving digital design arena in order to achieve creative excellence
Proficient in most MSOffice applications as well as both Windows and Mac operating systems
Experience working in the Pharmaceutical market is preferred
