Electrical Engineer -- Design Integrity - EE Systems and Wiring
position
Summary:
Design Integrity lead for multiple interior
electromechanical
systems, both in packaging requirements, electrical design and system behavior/validation
Responsibilities:
Generate system schematics for interior systems (HVAC, seats, overhead systems, other) and ensure system design accuracy between Interior and Electrical Engineering groups
Responsible for device/wire harness interconnection integrity for a wide range of components
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
BSEE or BSME degree or equivalent degree is required for an ABET accredited university
Knowledge in EE systems architecture, systems work, power and signal distribution, and wire harness design including DEF files
Self-directed with the desire to assume the center of competence role for Electromechanical Design Integrity within Interior Engineering
Excellent communication and presentation skills to support design/development process
DESIRED Competencies:
2-5 years automotive experience in increasingly responsible positions
Working knowledge of NX/Teamcenter
Knowledge of development testing and validation processes
Shainin and/or DFSS blackbelt experience
Experience developing performance standards and source packages
