Summary:
Our client is seeking a Release
manager
to join their Louisville Area team. This individual will be responsible for managing the applications across numerous environments. The successful candidate will be expected to work well with other departments and teams to manage and document the code as it progresses towards release. Additional duties include:
Documentation of what was moved and where
Moving and merging code from one environment to the next
Deployment of changes
Work closely with the database administrators to ensure that releases align with the appropriate database updates
Internet Information
services
management
Troubleshooting as issues surface
Requirements:
Release management experience or product management experience in a software development environment
Solid grasp of system architecture
Strong documentation background
Experience working with code, specifically in C#
Team Foundation Server experience
Experience with Github
Experience with Buildmaster
Experience with TeamCity
Must be a team player
Highly Desireable:
Bachelor's degree in
computer
Science or related field
Agile experience
Microsoft Office product knowledgeEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
