Data Analyst/Data Modeler

Data Analyst & Modeler will support the data architecture team in the detailed master data design, integration, cleansing and quality efforts in support of next generation ticketing and configuration management platform.
The Data Analyst & Modeler should have experience with hosting or network technologies, systems analysis and Agile development practices.
Responsibilites:
Provide critical support to data architecture team lead
Create data models for master data including customer, people, locations, organizations, etc.
Interact with project teams and users to ensure a clear understanding of data usage and consumption patterns
Prepare coherent, organized and detailed documentation
Drive detailed design specifications, leveraging subject matter experts and business users where necessary
Provide guidance and hands on support to data integration platform team
Provide subject matter expertise and support to DBA team
Provide input to data governance process teams
Participate in test planning
Required Skills:
Data analysis, data integration design and data quality engineering
Data modeling experience to include conceptual, logical and physical modeling of normalized and dimensional schemas
Advanced knowledge in SQL server
Background in Web Hosting, Co-location or Data Center architectures
Ability to work with technology, business experts, product owners, management and other staff to define tactical requirements and actionable steps
Ability to break down technical issues into easily digestible data points for consumption
Ability to exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
Ability to lead requirements elicitation meetings, reviews and workshops.
Experience with SOA environments and system to system integration practices
Experience working in a group and individual setting

Requirements:
3-5 years of directly relevant industry experience including service provider IT systems analyst, development or architect experience
Candidate must demonstrate experience in following an established software development methodology, project development planning and problem resolution
Strong communication and consensus-building skills which enable interaction with business process owners and end usersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
