Our client, located in Elkhart, is looking for a Human Resources Administrator. This will be a temp-to-hire

The HR Administrator will be responsible for a variety of areas in Human Resources including recruitment, personnel records, benefits administration, payroll and special projects.

Responsibilities:


Prepare insurance and benefit plan enrollment materials for new hires. Organize a new
employee
orientation that will explain human resource policies and procedures, as well as, a brief overview of the entire operation to give new employees a sense of what is being accomplished throughout the plant.

Coordinate hourly recruitment efforts throughout the plant. Manages
job
postings and advertisements, takes applications, maintains applicant flow log, conducts pre-placement testing, checks references of all probable candidates, and prepares offer letters and rejection letters. When sourcing employees through placement agencies, maintains contact with those agencies to fill open positions in the plant. Coordinates candidate on-site interviews with placement agencies. Serves as the new initial person of contact on an employee?s first day that comes through the agency.

Responsible for maintaining employee?s records. Enters new hourly employees into the payroll and time and attendance systems. Updates and maintains the employee attendance and vacation records. Gathers or completes the necessary documentation for preparation of hourly payroll such as new hire information, tax information, wage increases, benefit enrollments or changes that affect payroll, updates HRIS system, runs and reconciles HRIS reports.

Processes initial paperwork for workers compensation claims by completing forms and providing documentation for Plant carrier. Maintains accident/incident log for all workplace accidents or incidents.

Performs general routine clerical functions including typing, filing related to Human Resources. Coordinates annual plant activities such as open enrollment meetings, hearing tests and flu vaccinations.

Perform all other tasks necessary and or assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma
3 years to less than 5 years of related experience.
Basic word processing, spreadsheet, database and graphic software.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary in order to effectively interact with outside contacts and internal personnel where confidential matters are discussed which require considerable communication skills and involve major written and oral presentations.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
