The
manager
, Facilities directs and manages all activities relating to the upkeep and maintenance of the campus and centers which includes design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, building, and other facilities.
Manages the activities of all facilities personnel which includes hiring, training, managing performance and monitoring work flow to ensure the safe and efficient operating condition of building(s) and grounds.
Inspects campus on a routine basis to ensure the safe and effective use of facility resources in conformance with established company policies and governing regulations.
Monitors and ensures the effective maintenance and operation of HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisition. Monitors monthly expenditures against budget and makes adjustments as necessary.
Ensures that outside security and/or maintenance
services
are performed in conformance with service contracts. Inspects construction and installation work to ensure conformance to established specifications.
Acts as a liaison to public utility, environmental, and energy agencies.
Develops and maintains facility department policy and procedure documents.
Chairs and/or participates in campus safety and emergency response committees. Ensures campus emergency evacuation procedures are current and provides training for of campus personnel.
Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

High school diploma plus graduation from an accredited trade school or equivalent.
Ten years facilities/maintenance experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
PC skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet applications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
