Portal Architect Prolifics is currently seeking a Portal Architect to work with a team of developers on various client engagements, across all industries. A qualified candidate will be strong in Architecture with Java and Portal experience. Individual must also have excellent communication and written skills and should have experience interacting with key client stakeholders. As a senior member of our Digital Experience Practice, you will be responsible for providing consulting
services
for the architecture and delivery of complex Portal, Web Content Management, Social and Mobile Enterprise Java based solutions to our client base using industry-leading products and technologies. Responsibilities include leading all technical aspects of portal engagements from inception to delivery. This is a full time position within our organization and will require travel.
Qualifications: Must have held the role of a WebSphere Portal Lead or Architect for multiple Portal based solutions, and enterprise-scale, JEE-based solutions for large organizations Must have experience in Java-standards, Portlet-based Application Development on IBM Platform 5
years IBM WebSphere Portal design and development including developing JSR 286 Portlets, JSPs and Servlets, SOAP and REST based Web Services, RAD, Portlet Factory and/or Eclipse IDE Strong knowledge of WebSphere Portal components, services and frameworks, WebSphere Portal configuration, WebSphere Portal SPI, IBM WCM. Experience in MVC frameworks development (Spring Portlet MVC, JSF, Struts, etc.), object-oriented application design and related tools. Experience with most of the following: Maven, Ant, RTC, JDBC, Hibernate, JPA, EJB, Web Services, JavaScript Dojo, jQuery, CSS3, HTML5, Cordova, and SVN. Familiar with the core design patterns and best practices (OO/Gang-of-Four, JEE, Architecture) Familiar with SDLC methodologies including RUP and Agile methodologies. Must have a proven track record with integrating solutions in enterprise platforms and technologies. 8
