Tax Supervisor

BCG&Co. is looking for an experienced Tax Supervisor who would be responsible for delivering efficient, accurate, and timely preparation and review of all assigned clients' tax returns, research and consulting projects. Tax supervisors are responsible for preparing large returns and reviewing less complex returns as well as supervising associates and interns. Key duties include:
oPrepare or review business and individual tax returns of various complexities
oTrain, supervise and develop associates
oPerform tax planning and consulting projects
oConduct tax research

oAt least four (4) years of experience in public
accounting
and tax return preparation
oBS in Accounting, CPA license; Master of Taxation a plus (CPA required for Supervisor)
oExperience preparing and reviewing tax returns
oExperience supervising and directing tax preparers
oTax technical expertise in any of the following areas: individual, trust, estate, corporations, and partnerships
o
computer
proficiency using tax preparation software packages and MS Office; experience with CCH ProSystem fx tax software is a plus
oEffective verbal and written communication skills
oEffective time
management
and organization skills
oAbility to think proactively and independently
oDesire to deliver customer service that creates raving fansEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
