DUTIES INCLUDE:

Responsible for receiving data from PVC and/or sFTP, performing quality checks to ensure all data is present, loading data onto servers, and running all quality scripts.

Maintaining the longitudinal data into/in the PVDAS sandbox and production system.
Coordinating back-ups (initiate back-ups, initiate recovery) and patches (Oracle patches in coordination with the Data Center and their patches).
Adding and trouble-shooting COTS software (e.g., SAS) to servers.
Tracking the Data Center and troubleshooting first level performance problems.

Coordinating with Pentagon Data Center when security patches are performed and with other team when PVDAS fails.

Support end users.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology,
computer
Science or related field of study.
CompTIA Security
certification is required.

Four years minimum experience in a large scale Oracle RDMS environment, preferably 11g.

Must have experience with Oracle 11 tools (e.g., Oracle Enterprise
manager
) to track query performance and optimize performance.

Must have experience working with large medical healthcare databases (terabytes).

Must have experience with medical and clinical informatics.

Must have knowledge of military medical data and MDR data elements.

Must be familiar with the following:

1. Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition

2. Microsoft IIS (version 6.0)

3. Microsoft Office

4. Apache Tomcat (version 6.0)

5. Oracle 11g database (11.2.1.0 Enterprise x64)

6. SAS/SAS System Viewer

7. SQL

8. Java
9. ETL

11. STATA
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
