Summary

Ledcor is seeking an experienced Project Controller for our Reno, NV office. The Project Controller performs ongoing supervision and leadership of all financial aspects of the project(s) to which they are assigned including forecasting, job costing, owner billings and all other full cycle accounting functions.
Responsibilities
? Manages project-related financial inquiries and provides appropriate responses in a timely manner
? Acts as the key client contact during client audits including delegation of questions and sourcing of information
? Ensures that Ledcor invoices are submitted to the client and that accounts payable, payroll and equipment elements of the project are being properly prepared and processed in a timely and accurate manner
? Pursues payment collection from client and reports on overdue balances to senior management
? Organizes project accounting group to ensure needs of the project and business are being met
? Discusses any significant active issues with the project accounting team on a regular basis
? Prepares detailed analysis or review of aspects of the project as required
? Participates in the development of the monthly project forecast as required
? May perform other related duties as required
Requirements
? 5
years of experience in an accounting related role with a minimum of 2 years in construction
? Business degree and/or accounting designation
? Proven ability to understand construction administration and contract commercial terms
? Intermediate to strong Excel skills
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
? JDE experience would be an asset
