Summary
Perform monthly close responsibilities, including, but not limited to monthly close entries, financial statements, directors reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Perform tax compliance responsibilities, including but not limited to preparation of 990(PF) tax returns, state and regulatory reporting, quarterly tax payments, etc.
Complete various special projects and ad-hoc reporting as requested
Process and maintain payroll information and related compliance reporting
Track and provide reporting for restricted contributions
Develop and maintain a cooperative/collaborative environment with organization leaders and staff
A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers within varying levels of the organization
Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly
Proactive/self-driven work habits with demonstrated ability to make process improvements

_Qualifications_
Required
1
years of Corporate accounting experience in all aspects of general ledger processing
Able to create and change documents and information in Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation
Preferred
Experience with Financial Edge software

May be required to work beyond 8:00 am - 4:45 pm schedule
