Description of Duties:Responsible for providing nursing
services
in a very busy internal medicine primary care practice office. The majority of this
position
involves telephone triage. There will be some involvement in comprehensive screenings, in-office triage of patients requiring urgent attention. Participates in immunization programs, prescription refills, rooming patients, charting, assisting physician during procedure, scheduling, and other office duties. Evaluates, monitors and provides nursing care. Maintains communication patient, physician and staff.
Previous experience in a primary care practice (internal medicine) would be beneficial. Must have the ability to multi-task, be an active and suportive team member.
Centricity experience is needed.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Maine.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
