Serve as a junior member of a client delivery team responsible for developing and delivering knowledge
management
(KM) and SharePoint 2010 and 2013 training programs to military and civilian staff. Create training schedules and training guides, develop a curriculum, and provide instructional training on SharePoint 2010 and 2013 collaboration
practices
, knowledge management, and content management. Deliver training
services
in person and via virtual classroom instruction through Defense Connect Online and build self-service training materials that can be viewed by users at any time, including CBT and reference guides. Participate in governance, stakeholder, and
community
management discussions to collect requirements and refine training objectives. Provide technical and functional support to the help desk and other client staff to resolve end user access and usage issues. Learn and work as part of a team to ensure that the developed curriculum and courseware continues to meet client needs and evolves with changes in the SharePoint platform.
Basic
Qualifications:
-1 years of experience with SharePoint 2010 and 2013, including creating, modifying, and managing site collections, Web parts, workflows, and permissions
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
-Ability to present in front of a class of 60 users or host a Web session with 200 users and convey technical information to non-technical audiences
-Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadline pressure
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in CS,
computer
Engineering, IT, or 5 years of experience with Sharepoint
Additional
Qualifications:
-Experience with developing and delivering technology focused training
-Experience with the DoD community a plus
-Experience with SharePoint Designer
-Experience with HTML, CSS, or JQuery
-Possession of excellent customer interfacing skills
-Possession of excellent oral presentation skills
-BA or BS degree in IT or a related field
