This is not a commissioning opportunity.
This position is located in the ANG Base Engineering Division and requires military membership. It is designated for National Guard incumbency only. Performs long term planning and organizational development necessary to accomplish architecture and engineering functions for programs essential to state Air National Guard daily operations, training, and readiness missions. Fosters an environment conducive to teaming among service providers and customers to meet state Air National Guard requirements.
It is an interdisciplinary position which may be filled under any of the following titles and occupational series, depending on the qualifications of the applicant and needs of the agency:
General Engineer, GS-0801
Architect, GS-0808
Civil Engineer, GS-0810
Environmental Engineering, GS-0819
Mechanical Engineer, GS-0830
Electrical Engineer, GS-0850
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must meet the minimum and specialized requirements for one of the series listed below and provide supporting documentation for verification.
NOTE: a SF-50 reflecting that you currently or formerly served as an Architect / Engineer for the Federal Government is NOT qualifying supporting documentation for the basic requirement. In addition to your Resume, vMPF Rip, DVB, ORB or other similar personnel record; you MUST submit either your transcripts, current registration as a professional engineer, and/or EIT examination as applicable.
