ASSEMBLER
JobDescription:
This position providesin-store and residential Assembly
services
. Items to be assembledinclude RTA Furniture, Gas Grills, Bicycles & ExerciseEquipment. Applicants must be at least 18,have a mechanical aptitude, reliable transportation, valid driver'slicense and be proficient with various hand tools (power screwdrivers, impact wrench, ratchets and air compressor). Also necessary:basic reading, writing, mathematical skills (
computer
skills a plus);ability to assemble products according to instructions; a strongcustomer service orientation; and able to handle repetitive motionswith frequent lifting (up to 45lbs.), bending andstretching.
Primary Job
Responsibilities:

Performs assemblyfor customers. Completes assignments as agreed and assures customeris completely satisfied.

Assemble allproducts to the manufacturer's specifications to ensure the productcan be used safely.

Understand andmaintain plan-o-gram integrity, as required.

Maintain apositive working relationship with all store employees and customers.

Maintainseffective method of contact with dispatcher through pager, voicemail,cell phone, email, etc. Receive and return all calls promptly.

Reports and/orhandles customer complaints.

Maintains goodwork habits and arrives at appointments punctually.

Worksindependently to meet deadlines and achieve results.

Performs otherrelated duties as required.
Requirements

1-2 years ofassembly experience

1-2 yearsexperience in a retail environment

Must be able toread and understand product assembly instructions.

Must be able toread and understand plan-o-grams.

Must complete internal certificationprograms

Must have basiccarpentry skills.

Must have basiccomputer skills.

Must have goodcommunication and customer service skills.

Must have reliabletransportation

Must have validdriver's license and automobile insurance.

Must have dailyinternet access.

Must have basictools.

Must be able towork in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping,standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extendedperiods of time.

Must be able touse hands and fingers to handle feel or operate objects, tools orcontrols.

Must be able tolift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned jobtasks.

Must be able tolift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.

Must be able towork in precarious or high locations and also be able to climb anddescend ladders.

Must be able topass a background check.
Assemblersare paid based on productivity.Paid training isprovided.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
