Aflac Queens Regional Office seeks a talented recruiter to maintain top positioning in the north east. Aflac specializes in supplemental benefits to businesses and individuals. With great branding and marketing at our fingertips, our goal is to continue to build and develop our sales force to meet the needs of the NY marketplace.
Position is located in Bayside NY, but may require occasional travel to NYC, Queens and/or LI for various recruiting/networking
events
. We are looking for an articulate, personable, well organized and highly focused individual. Candidate should possess skills necessary to analyze sourcing and recruiting strategies, provide valuable input to add efficiency, find new viable candidate sourcing venues and/or techniques, and most importantly, keep a consistent pipeline of appropriate applicants from various sources. This individual will also be crucial in transitioning recruits through our recruiting approach in a timely manner and on boarding to appropriate managers. Expect a high volume of inquiries and applicants.
Recruiter should possess the following:
- 3-5 years recruiting, admissions enrollment, HR experience and/or project management.
- Associates/Bachelors degree in HR, Business, Communications
- Willingness to learn new technology
- Willingness to work with others to fulfill various aspects of recruitment
- Willingness to obtain NYS insurance license
This performance based position offers competitive compensation including base salary (30-35K), plus commission, and health benefits.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
