manager
with a unique blend of analytical and creative experience and demonstrable success in multiple principles of marketing. The Sr. Marketing Manager requires extensive collaboration across multiple teams including product management, sales and marketing communications, PR and event teams. Responsible for the development and implementation of a clearly defined marketing and communications strategy to increase awareness, develop thought leadership, generate leads, enable sales and engage clients across various B2B segments
Must have balanced and applied experience spanning product management, marketing segmentation, vertical marketing and marketing communications within the B2B or consumer space. Functions:
Size, evaluate and prioritize specific market segments for deeper sales and marketing focus
Develop value propositions and messaging aligned with business objectives
Oversees planning and execution of marketing communications activities
A clear understanding of marketing KPI's and optimization techniques
Integrate benchmarking, performance objectives, and ROI reporting into marketing activities to ensure programs are targeted and effective
Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge of trends, technologies and best practices on an ongoing basis
Requirements:
o 7
years in strategic B2B product marketing roles, ideally in financial and/or business
services
o Applied and balanced experience spanning product management, vertical marketing and marketing communications
o Proven success in marketing - i.e. can point to specific product packaging, positioning and demand generation initiatives in new/adjacent markets which led to meaningful revenue growth
o Strong project management and organizational skills.
o Strong writing and presentation development (e.g. Powerpoint) skills a must
o Key qualitative attributes: solid blend between critical and creative thinking; outstanding communications; inspires and teams with others; goes the extra mile in getting things done right; at ease spanning across immediate team boundaries; can simultaneously execute in the near-term and plan across longer time horizons
o Undergraduate degree, MBA a plus.
o Content marketing / copy writing a plus
