Seeking a Technical Sales and Sourcing Manager CFSSM
Our Client Company is a global manufacturer of a diverse range of innovative product solutions serving multiple industries. They are currently seeking a Technical Sales and Sourcing Manager in the Batavia, IL area. The salary range is $60k-$90k depending on experience, plus an annual bonus potential. Relocation is not available.
The Technical Sales and Sourcing Manager is a new position that will proactively oversee and manage all aspects of the equipment vendor base. This position will work closely with sales and marketing to effectively and efficiently process and fulfill custom equipment orders and drive end-to-end supply chain execution to consistently meet/exceed the customer service promise metrics. The incumbent will be the day-to-day relationship manager of our equipment vendor base, enforce equipment vendor contracts and work to deliver win-win relationships, while continuing to strengthen the equipment by the client's position of competitive advantage.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from an accredited four-year university with an engineering degree preferred.
A minimum of five years of relevant sourcing or technical sales experience preferably with healthcare and capital equipment is desired. Prefer experience and proven track record as a frontline sourcing professional orchestrating a co-manufacturing supply chain including customer-facing specification setting.
Must have effective business-relationship building skills, leadership capacity (particularly in the area of negotiations), strong analytic and system-management skills, and strong communication abilities. Our preference is to assign high potential talent to this role with the expectation of further career upside in the supply chain, sales or marketing functions.
Ability to understand P&L as it applies to equipment business. Must have strong financial and Excel skills to analyze equipment costing, value engineering opportunities, KPI performance tracking, etc. Technical capability to understand our Dinex equipment mechanical and electrical capacity.
