Summary of
position
:This is a technical team position.Primary responsibilty is to work on developing, configuring and troubleshooting the GWIM Desktop environments and applications within them.Desktop environment is a custom in house developed platform named Desktop Framework.


Major functions performed by International Integration Team

Supporting and implementing configuration changes needed to custom UI
Assisting other development teams to leverage custom UI Context
Escalation point for support teams on production issues
Troubleshooting Windows Desktop and Domain environments
Configuring Windows XP & Windows 7 environment
Windows Scripting
Testing applications running within integrated workstation environment
Verification of effects of vendor provided products have on all desktop applications
Perform functional validation for applications on the workstation
Maintain desktop lab environment
Facilitate UAT testing
Work within internal development life cycle
Create release documentation describing changes included in release for hand off to QA team
Create and maintain test scripts
Testing/Configuring/Troubleshooting Reuters 3000 Market Data client

Desired Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows OS required
Familiarity with the ML Desktop Framework is a plus
Resourceful, driven and self-reliant individual
Works well in team environment
Knowledge of ASP .Net; MSI and UDDI technologies helpful
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
