Responsible for product design, testing and evaluation requirements of APQP; Outline and manage development of mechanical engineering projects for introduction of new technologies or improvement to existing technologies in mechanical engineering product design, testing, or evaluation; Perform necessary product design and DVP&R testing requirements of APQP interfacing with Project Engineers; Perform and request FEA analysis; CAD using Unigraphics NX; Issue testing requests and coordinate scheduling with the Product Laboratory Technician; Develop test methods and procedures as needed; Visit customers and vendors as required; and Perform necessary functions to comply with ISO 16949 and ISO 14001.
Location: Manchester, NH
Salary: $77,983 per year
Education: Bachelor Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: Three (3) years in the
position
above, as a CAD Lead Engineer, Product Development Engineer, Application Engineer, Senior Consultant - Engineering, or in a related occupation.
Experience must include work with Unigraphics NX, APQP, CAD, DVP&R, FEA Analysis, ISO 16949, and ISO 14001.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
