My client, a consultancy firm based in Northern NJ, is looking for a Director to help lead a newly created IT Risk Management group. You will lead the establishment of a Risk Management program. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to get in at ground level and help to define and execute the process across multiple domains.
The Role:
Establish a new IT Risk Management initiative (including governance, review, and response) to include frameworks, policies and procedures, and reporting tools
Evaluate and define the risk rankings and map these across departments
Evaluate and fix any risk control gaps
Define and implement risk reporting tools
Establish and ensure maintenance of risk reviews and logs and look for areas of continual improvement
Keep updated on Global and North American regulations to ensure continued compliance
Initially this role will not have any direct reports but as the group grows, they will be people management expectations
The Candidate:
At least 8 years' experience in IT Risk Management or IT Governance/Compliance
Direct experience designing, implementing and supporting a risk management program within an organization
CISSP certification is required
Knowledge of International and North American Security standards
Experience using Archer eGRC Solutions would be a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience interacting will all levels of an organization
The salary is negotiable depending on experience with excellent benefits package.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
