: Entry Level QA Automation Engineer
The ideal candidate should have a desire to gain experience testing complex web user interfaces (front-end), as well as (back-end) system integration testing. You will have some experience in the development of automated test scripts, and a successful track record for QA involvement throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). The individual will need practical knowledge and experience with both AGILE and Waterfall development methodologies and will be used to a fast paced development driven environment.
Responsibilities
o Analyze product requirements to define acceptance criteria
o Design, create and maintain re-usable test scripts
o Execute manual and automated testing
o Review Test Plans with Product Management and Development teams
o Provide estimates on Test resources and effort to support prioritization and planning
o Work closely with engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues
o Participate as a testing resource when required and be an integral part of all releases
o Show flexibility and understanding to occasionally work within tight deadlines
o Assist with constantly reviewing and evolving processes
Basic Qualifications
o Degree in
computer
Science or a related area
o Minimum of 1 year experience of software testing
o The ability to follow a formal process while maintaining best practices
o Some experience with test automation tools, such as Selenium
o Some knowledge of programming languages, especially PHP, JavaScript or Java
o Knowledge of mark-up languages, specifically xml
o SQL skills and exposure to MySQL databases
o Some experience in writing detailed test plans and conducting test plan reviews
o Highly motivated with the ability to work independently
o Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
