We are looking for Windows System Administrator for our client in Stamford, CT

JOB TITLE: Windows System Administrator

JOB LOCATION: Stamford, CT

TERM: 6 Months Contract

JOB
Responsibilities:
5-7 Years' experience in administering Windows 2000/ 2003 Server and Active Directory.
Primary skills in Citrix environment, VMWARE and VBlock UCS management.
Responsible for the maintenance RIMM Project (Including Remote Installation and
Maintenance of existing setup / Server / Servers and installation of new setup / Server /Servers).
Deal with Hardware vendors like IBM / HP / Dell / VCE. Following up with Vendors hardware &
software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes.
Responsible for Root cause analysis
Responsible for Resolving Escalated issue.
Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports.
Will make sure that the
tickets
raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and escalated as per the escalation Matrix.
Define the reasons for unsolved / unattended issues will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports.
Should be taking conference calls with the customers.
Required Skills:
WINTEL Skills in detail:
Should have more than 6
years of Windows server Administration experience preferably with at least 4
years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment
Proficient in Microsoft OS
In-Depth knowledge of Active Directory and DNS structure
Strong Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server and trouble shooting skills;
Strong in File and Print Server Management; Knowledge in Windows Security; experienced in Antivirus products
Ability to implement AD infrastructure
In-Depth knowledge of Domain Controllers replication configurations
Good Exposure to Group Policies creation, their testing and implementation
In-Depth knowledge of DHCP servers designing and planning
Should have good working experience on RAID management and Array controller.
Should have good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing
Should have expertise in backup products
Should have worked with OEM hardware (DELL/HP/IBM), & remote connectivity tools
Should have worked with more than one patching & antivirus tools
Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system
Registry to support installed applications and document configuration
Ability to build and remove domains in existing AD environment
Good Knowledge on FSMO Roles assignment in AD environment
Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning
Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
