The primary responsibility of this
position
is to manage and implement all SCCM administration activities for all Windows server and windows patch management consistent with compliance timelines. Through the proper use of change management the SCCM Admin will schedule, provision, deploy and record auditable artifacts to maintain patch compliance. The SCCM administrator will deliver service excellence by responding to requests from Data Center Operations for Enterprise changes, script highly customized configuration solutions, package and deploy software as well as provide training and guidance to less senior members of the team. The SCCM Admin schedules and coordinates work during maintenance windows and communicates any and all outages to affected stake holders.
Additional responsibilities include the management and maintenance of the Symantec Endpoint Management System and Antivirus clients on all workstations and servers ensuring definitions are kept up to date, specified audit standards are met, and that any virus or malware activity is recorded, remediated and eliminated in the environment. Responsibilities also include syslog and event log management for all Windows server systems ensuring that auditable security event logs are retained for a specific period of time.
Excellent interpersonal, written communication and verbal communication skills as a technical leader are required for success in this role.

Follow ITIL service management standards by submitting proper incident, problem, service and change requests through the MAXIMO system in a compliance environment such as SSAE16.
Ability to participate in a geographically dispersed 24 x 7 support organization including shift work and off-hours support.
Participates in weekly team meetings.
Ability to cross-train and mentor other team members in technical domain including process and procedures.
Ability to develop and implement solutions in both high priority operational settings and project work. Ability to work effectively with standard project management tools, work with project managers, and facilitate follow through on project requests.
Update department process and procedures documentation with appropriate information based on experience during incident resolution. Include proper process improvement in document to help prevent or streamline breakdowns.
Maintain client engineering and support documentation consistent with best practices and business need.
Ability to participate in developing and following through on continuous process improvement activities. Facilitate or perform post incident reviews for server and desktop incidents to identify improvements to process and procedure including follow through on agreed to action items.

Required Skills
Bachelors degree.
A minimum of three years professional experience as a developer, build master, or release engineer.
A minimum of three years experience is a work lead of a team of 3 to 5 people.
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with technical team, management, and business stakeholders. Ability to build positive working relationships and influence collaboratively across IT teams.
At least six years technical experience in Windows server and desktop operating systems environment with specific experience with SCCM, Active Directory, WSUS, Exchange Cluster Failover , and IIS.
At least three years experience in Windows scripting (VB, Powershell, AutoIT, Batch File), WMI, and SQL with both SQL management and writing queries.
At least three years experiencing in developing and maintaining server and desktop images using industry best practices and tools. Experience in packaging, automating, and deploying software/configuration artifacts to Windows servers and desktops (including laptops and WYSE thin clients).
Symantec Endpoint Management (SEPM) experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and configure Antivirus Policy for definition frequency and data loss prevention policies.
A solid understanding of standard client/server and TCP/IP networking including environment with a complex firewall and security controls implementation.
Ability to use Word, Excel, Visio, and Powerpoint tools to help organize work and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of VMware and the ability to access systems via VSPHERE console as needed.
Basic knowledge of Windows to Linux/UNIX systems administration integration.
Readiness to travel, 10% travel annuallyEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
