As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee the operations of the kitchen andensure that quality, nutritional meals are provided daily, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will work closely with our full-time Registered Dietitian.
In addition, you will be involved with ordering food/supplies, ensuring all purchases remain within a designated budget and inventory management. You will also be responsible for hiring, scheduling and managing a staff of approximately 15 people.
At times you may be involved in meal preparation, set-up, clean-up and/or service to our residents.
Qualified candidates will have been in a supervisory position in the Dietary department of a Nursing Home, Assisted Living and/or Hospital, Restaurant. However, hands-on experience performing all duties in the kitchen is required. A Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) license is preferred, but not required.
