Center Valley, PA - The Specialist, Corporate Social Responsibility-Grants will analyze and perform due diligence on information submitted to the Olympus Grants Application Website and Latin American Grants Application Portal. The incumbent will execute and deliver on key tasks associated with due diligence for Latin American Grant applicants, Grants fulfilment and documentation requirements, particularly related to grant-supported
events
utilizing Olympus equipment. He/She will perform communication and tracking requirements with respect to post-event reconciliation. EOE M/F/D/V
Screen and assess registration applications and grant requests utilizing Olympus' grants application software program and/or online databases and act upon same in timely fashion in accordance with departmental processes.
Create and facilitate timely and professional declination of support for requests that fail to meet Olympus' criteria.
Perform required due diligence on all organizations, individual registrants and applicants to the Olympus Grants Application Sites (Grants Websites) in a timely manner.
Engage in follow-up communications with requestors, as necessary, to request clarification to remedy deficiencies or educate them regarding committee criteria for consideration of their application.
Perform review and analysis of registrant and applicant eligibility screening for Latin American grant applications, including risk assessment and procedural due diligence components for international grant applicants in accordance with departmental policies and processes.
Facilitate translations of key documents and components submitted in foreign languages for conversion into the Olympus Grants Application Website.
Utilize electronic technology tools and data tracking software as available, communicate with requestors to receive and maintain necessary documents associated with post-grant event reconciliation process to ensure adherence to aggregate spend tracking requirements, federal disclosure requirements, and life science industry best practices.
Engage in frequent communications, both written and verbal, with OCA business management and key stakeholders, regarding important issues, deadline-sensitive information, and important priorities warranting transparency and/or interfacing with respect to grants support.
Develop processes and execute actions necessary to advance Olympus Grant Program offerings to expand including product and equipment donations for worthy education and training purposes across the Americas.
Perform tasks to document and deliver Olympus' commitments on approved grant requests projects, such as drafting and exchanging letters of agreement/ support commitments with recipients, procuring timely shipment of donated equipment, wire transfers of payments for international monetary grants through Finance, providing approved and applicable corporate branding materials or logos, etc.
Serve as the primary resource to manage the documentation and fulfillment with Olympus inventory control regarding modifications and substitutions to grant-supported events involving Olympus' inventory.
Troubleshoot and take necessary actions on highly time-sensitive fulfillment issues.
Support department personnel with internal and external projects and other related duties as assigned.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

A Bachelor degree or equivalent knowledge and experience, in Business, Marketing, Education, Communications, Public Administration or related field is required.
A minimum of 4 years of experience performing or supporting corporate projects or business process development is required.
Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is strongly preferred.
Must have exceptional organizational and process-management skills with ability to multi-task and make strategic policy-based determinations.
Knowledge of Olympus products, processes and ERP system is strongly preferred.
Must have the ability to develop and oversee successful projects with cross-departmental teams.
Must have excellent professional communication skills, customer service and etiquette.
Must be a team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must have the ability to organize and lead a presentation for a group of up to 30 participants.
Must be skilled with Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes, especially Excel.
Heightened awareness of deadlines and details is required.
Must have the ability to work gracefully under pressure in a fast-paced, expanding, and dynamic corporate environment.
Understanding of fraud and abuse, anti-kickback, aggregate spend requirements and other health care rules and regulations applicable to medical device companies is strongly preferred.
Must have the ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25 days per year.
The following physical demand is required:
-Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hours a day

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
