firm is looking to hire a Mechanical Process Engineer in their Pittsburgh office. Ideal candidate will have the required education, experience and live within the Pittsburgh or surrounding areas.
DUTIES:
Responsibilities include engineering analysis, design development and generation of design including Process Flow; Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID); System Descriptions; Mechanical Equipment Lists; Mechanical Equipment Sizing; Pipe, and Valve Specifications; ASME Code Design and Evaluation; and Vendor Document Reviews.
Qualifications:
Design experience with rotating and static equipment
Candidate must have knowledge of ASME B31.3 code requirements.
Background with equipment selection and design
Process development and analysis experience.
Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION
BS Degree in Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering or related degree plus experience.
Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred
