Job Description:
Summary:
Washes metal equipment, glass, rubber, or plastic objects by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
o Operates steam cleaning/wash bay equipment.
o Sprays objects with sprayer nozzle or immerses objects in washing and rinsing solutions to remove debris.
o Dries objects if necessary.
o Dislodges debris from objects.
o Fills vats with water to specified level.
o Pours specified quantity of soap or chemicals into water or other solutions.
o Operates/moves equipment into and out of steam rack bay.
o Load and unload parts into and out of caustic vat and soap vat.
o Load parts into and out of oven.
o Bead blast parts and equipment.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
