The Chief Software Engineer, CNO will be responsible for working with Technology Centers and the business to identify solutions to customer problems that are technically sound, and align with the customer's planned direction.
Will also coordinate with and partner with other parts of the company, serving as an integrator of cyber capabilities and talent.
In addition, the successful candidate will establish company credibility in key technology areas including
computer
Network Operations, Information Assurance, Computer Network Defense and Cyber Security.
This includes meeting with and providing technical briefings to the customer's technical representatives and key strategic partners, generating white papers on key technologies and working with pursuit teams to ensure that customer requirements are well understood and result in superior technical proposals.
The Chief Software Engineer, CNO will work with the business and Chief Technology Officer to develop the company's technical strategy.
Required Skills:
Successful candidates must have existing relationships and recognized credibility within the CNO
community
and be recognized thought leaders in their area of expertise;
Minimum of 12 years of technical experience in systems engineering/development for intelligence related programs, with an emphasis on Computer Network Operations (CNO);
CNO Planning, Development, Integration, and Testing experience. Proven ability to analyze potential threats to critical assets and develop solutions;
Ability to analyze and predict potential customer problems and design/develop prototype solutions;
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Required Clearance: Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI is required.
Desired Skills:
Experience in a strategic role on a multi-year intelligence project or program (e.g., Systems Architect, Lead Systems Engineer)
Experience working with multiple operating systems environments, associated networks, and infrastructure configurations.
Experience with vulnerability identification and exploitation techniques.
Background in malware detection, evaluation and reverse engineering.
Required Education (including Major):
BS in Engineering or related technical field.
