Job Functions

Evaluate production processes and methods for efficiency, technique, cost and ergonomic impact. Recommend process changes required to correct deficiencies in the above elements and coordinate the implementation of these changes into production.
Review complex product design and product design changes identifying production requirements, developing highly efficient and technically sound process solutions. Must have the ability to present developed process solutions to a diverse team of management and bargaining unit members.
Develop and maintain labor and component routings utilizing local integrated business system. Develop assembly and machining work allocations with efficient labor utilization.
Utilize MTM software for developing and establishing process standards in existing processes and future planning. Confirm process standards utilizing conventional process time studies.
Interface with manufacturing business units to specify and or integrate process and methods improvements (standards reduction). Determine standard labor costs for finance as required. Develop process documentation for utilization by manufacturing. Coordinate process and methods requirements with TOS (Truck Operating Systems) department.
Participate in selecting and testing tooling utilized in manufacturing processes.
Participate in special projects as required.
Keep abreast of technological developments in the industry.


Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years related experience or an Associates degree with six to eight years of related experience required.
Methods planning, Work allocations, Manufacturing process development required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
