Estimator - Building Materials

Our client, a Wholesale Building Material Supplier has built their business on serving contractors by establishing a fast and efficient delivery system, offering unique architectural and trim products and building the best in class companies in the area. This dynamic team is looking to add an experienced estimator to work with the sales force, contractors, and customers. The successful candidate will have knowledge of blue print reading, building materials, construction and take offs.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and generate product take-offs.
- Process take-offs in a time sensitive manner.
- Work with take-off software, previous experience with Planswift is a plus.
- Communicate with Branch and Sales staff.
- Work with Pricing Reps to provide project estimates.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel a MUST, MS Word and Access a plus.
- 3-5 years estimating experience required.
- Familiarity with a Digitizer and tapered take-offs is a MUST.
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
