Scope of
position
:
Efficiently and effectively coordinate Corning Life Sciences pricing process as it relates to processing customer contracts, adjusted cost agreements, and direct quotes. Understand and enforce pricing guidelines, recommended dealer rebates, and various flags in the Pricing System. This position interacts primarily with sales representatives, rebate coordinator, customer service, product managers, customers, and distributors pricing specialists.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Process contracts, adjusted cost agreements, and direct quotes
Prepare cover letters and pricing information to send/fax for customers and distributors
Update pricing system with new products and changes
Monitor corporate pricing and rebate initiatives, enforce pricing rules
Inform sales representatives and distributors of quotes and contracts expiring in 90 days
Inform sales representatives of contracts that have not been signed and returned by customers
Maintain contract and adjusted cost account files
Work with marketing to keep the contract worksheet current with regard to recommended rebate levels, maximum discounts per item
Provide usage reports to sales organization
Maintain and update courtesy pricing for government customers
Contribute to and help define pricing rules/policies
Monitor, police, and help educate reps on pricing policies and rules

Required Education:
BS or BA preferred
Required Years and Area of
Experience:
Experience with customer/distributor interactions and pricing processes
Required Skills:
PC Skills (Excel, Outlook, Microsoft.)
Ability to multi-task, and respond quickly to various information requests
Attention to detail, excellent organization, ability to prioritize work load and meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be willingness to enforce procedures and guidelines
