We are currently seeking talented Advertising Sales professionals in the
kansas
City, MO area with proven experience in advertising sales in a media or web-based environment.

The Advertising Consultant will work with existing accounts to demonstrate the benefits of CoStar as an advertising medium, and identify and develop new advertising prospects. Responsibilities include daily contact with prospects and existing clients to promote the value of our advertising space, and meeting sales objectives in a deadline-driven organization. In this role, building and cultivating a book of business, you will have the opportunity to help identify and capture new business and help create advertising products that will maximize ad sales business growth for the CoStar product suite.

Qualified candidates will have the following
Experience:
B.A. in Marketing or Business preferred.
Experience with advertising sales on the web preferred, and/or B2B publication, newspaper or magazine advertising sales. Proven track record at assertively researching and qualifying prospective clients.
Preference given to candidates who possess a thorough understanding of
commercial
real estate
, including the marketing objectives of property owners with vacant space.
Solid
computer
and web search skills, and experience using a contact database.
Excellent communication skills, high energy level, highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and have a strong customer service approach. You should also have superb organizational and time management skills.
Experience selling to the multifamily industry is helpful but not required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
