Job Summary

The VP, Clinical Solutions is responsible for the development, management and leadership of the activities of the Clinical Solutions group. Also serves as a key support to the Chief Medical Officer, Group Vice President.

Job Responsibilities
Leads and evaluates a field-based team of Clinical Directors (a.k.a., Health Outcomes Liaisons) who generally have a background as a Pharm. D, Ph.D., or RN. Trains and supports this clinical team on competitive strategies to articulate the differential clinical value of Walgreens
services
, programs, and products to payers (managed care, government and employers) and integrated health-systems.
Collaboratively works with the Health Outcomes and Analytics/Reporting teams to maximize the value of outcomes studies and clinical data analytics to support creating tools and messages that demonstrates the differential value of Walgreens programs and services.
Integrates field input into the development and application of a cohesive clinical strategy to assure appropriate support for all Business Units.
Ensures department priorities align with company sales plan, with the B2B sales team, and continuously monitors team performance and outcomes.
Oversee strategic and tactical planning that result in the proposal and execution of policies and programs that achieve maximum sales potential.
Maintains expertise and analysis of our market and competitive environment. Collaborates closely with the Sales organization.
Visits key accounts, and maintains strong trusted relationships with key accounts.
Contributes to the strategic dialogue with key external customers to enhance the support efforts of Managed Markets Sales (MMS), Client Services and other internal teams as required.
Facilitates discussion with key product owners and subject matter experts, and non-sales teams to drive sales strategy.
Obtains and allocates resources to meet operating plans. Ensures the ongoing training and development of direct reports. Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Interests
MD or Ph.D. and at least 10 years of experience in a clinical sales or a Medical Science Liaison leadership role for a national health care company.
Required licensure as Medical Doctor (MD) as granted by state licensing body (if applicable).
Experience collaboratively working with Health Outcomes and Analytics teams to develop clinical messaging, academic posters and papers, while developing the Clinical Sales Support Strategy.
Experience with P&L, financial planning and forecasting budgets.
Experience establishing and building strong relationships in the health care industry.
Experience developing and executing clinical sales client strategies that deliver demonstrated profit growth.
Experience in direct sales support related to payor, health system, and government clients.
At least 5 years of experience directly managing professional associates, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Willing to travel up to 60 % of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
Experience with Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and health systems/physician groups.
Experience in a client-facing role.
Experience managing teams across business units.
Ability to analyze data and basic understanding of biostatistics.
Knowledge of new trends and developments in the health care industry.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
