One of our largest and most popular clients has an immediate opening for an IT Manager! This person will manage several small, cohesive IT operations-support teams in multiple locations. These IT teams support centers which collectively handle and ship millions of items each day. The IT manager serves as the liaison between the entire operations effort, and the IT infrastructure in each facility. The IT Manager is expected to have a high degree of technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines. as well as great people skills, the ability to motivate and develop her/his staff, and generally be someone who can make it fun as well as profitable to work here!.
Basic
Qualifications:
5
years people managing experience
Experience working with operations and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
Experience communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours per day
Willingness to work flexible schedule as necessary
Bachelor's Degree required
Project management skills
Technical expertise in one or more IT related fields including networking, Linux administration, Microsoft administration, and/or Cisco network configuration and management
Understanding of core internet technologies - DHCP, DNS, mail transport, TCP/IP.
Experience and demonstrated success in leading geographically disparate, technical teams
Bachelor's Degree required
This position requires willingness to travel 50-75% of the time (3-4 days/week) managing employees in multiple buildings.
NOTE: The compensation package totals quoted below include base salary
bonuses that will be paid if you are successful. If you're not successful, it's a moot point, so yes, you CAN count on them !
These do NOT include the client's excellent benefits plan. So your benefits would be IN ADDITION TO the $105k - $130k
