Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of network communications
Uses knowledge of LAN/MAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks
Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements
Must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems
Possesses one or more industry standard certifications including CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc.
ITIL v3 studies expected
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Performs a variety of tasks
May lead and direct the work of others
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Must be familiar with managed services concepts within an outsourcing environment
Typically reports to a
manager

Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Aruba certification, AMCA needed & AMCP desired
Hands on configuration experience for Aruba OS 6.0+
MUST possess 1 or more, of the following Cisco Certifications
CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate
CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional
CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools
In depth experience with distributed networks
In depth experience with Call Center voice networks
Significant Knowledge of web content load balancers, SSL certs, and DNS
Experience with copper and fiber cabling systems
Must have strong 'hands-on' experience with LAN/WAN administration
Must have proven experience with deep technical aspects of enterprise network integration projects
Must have experience with the design and implementation of an Enterprise Network Architecture.
Must have proven experience with various LAN/WAN designs
Strong understanding of MPLS networks
Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal
Experience interviewing end users to gather requirements
Knowledge of the SDLC
Experience building reports
Expert-level proficiency in the following:
Network concepts including LAN/WAN architectures
Microsoft Visio
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel)
Microsoft Project
Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external interactions
Ability to analyze situations and challenges in a systematic, logical approach
Ability to analyze data points extracted by automated and manual discovery processes
