High School Park & Recreation Manufacturing builds scoreboards and displays for customers including: schools, colleges and universities, professional teams and facilities, sports federations, and international events and organizing committees.
Shifts with open positions may include:
M/T/W/Th 6:00am - 4:30pm
Production employees enjoy a 4 day work week, Monday thru Thursday, with overtime being required and scheduled when work load requires. This is accomplished by working extended hours Monday - Thursdays or on Fridays when work load requires.
1. Produce graphics/text for sponsor and identification displays.
2. Application of the vinyl to aluminum panels.
3. Box finished products for shipment.
4. Communicate and work closely with manufacturing assembly areas.
5. Learn and make improvement suggestions to Daktronics products, policies, procedures, and department processes.
6. Make sure projects are produced with professionalism, accuracy, and completed prior to deadlines.
7. Accurately and timely perform tasks as assigned. Keep work areas clean and organized.
8. Learn Daktronics products, systems, and processes and assemble product in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
9. Be flexible to work in other departments as needed.
10. Learn and follow company policies and procedures.
11. Complete other duties as assigned to meet internal and external customer needs.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Good communication skills. Fluent in English; verbal and written.
3. Ability to learn quickly.
4. Basic
computer
skills required. Prefer experience with Microsoft Office programs and Photoshop.
5. Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.
6. Ability to work with minimum supervision,
7. Ability to be flexible and able to quickly learn with limited instruction.
8. Ability to meet deadlines and maintain control and quality under pressure.
9. Ability to follow and carry out directions.
10. Must be self-motivated.
11. Regularly and reliably work the scheduled hours. Ability to work overtime when workload requires.
12. Wear all proper protective equipment as required in work area in accordance with Daktronics Safety Policy and OSHA standards. Items may include: safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, hearing protection and electrostatic discharge wear.
13. Physical requirements include the ability to:
13.1 Distinguish and identify wire and paint colors.
13.2 Read fine print with or without the use of corrective lenses.
13.3 Work with odors (solder/paint/solvent/manufacturing odor).
13.4 Lift and carry heavy (up to 50 lbs) and/or awkward items.
13.5 stand or sit for the full shift and have full range of motion (including but not limited to bending and lifting) required to perform the job functions.
13.6 Maintain steady hand-eye coordination.
13.7 Reach in all directions and in potentially awkward positions.
14. Background check will be conducted.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
