Consumer & Business Banking Technology (CBB IT) builds and supports the firm's financial infrastructure to ensure Finance professionals have access to the tools and information necessary to drive success. In partnership with Consumer & Business Banking Technology (CBB IT) and others, we deliver solutions that meet the requirements of our key clients. CBB IT provides technology support for legal, monetary management, general ledger, profitability, cost allocations, treasury, accounts payable, reference data, project accounting and fixed assets while offering plan and build support for reporting tools.

Centralized Transaction Operations IT (CTO IT) delivers timely solutions using the best design and implementation tools, including Service Oriented Architecture, Business Application Monitoring and Business Process Management, in order to continuously improve business processes while taking an outside-in, customer-centric perspective.

As an production support analyst, the candidate will provide high quality technology production support for the Consumer & Business Banking Technology and our LOB partners. Working in a CBB IT model, the candidate will insure that all applications function/performance as efficiently as possible. As the primary point of contact the candidate will work with other CBB IT operational areas to quickly diagnose and solution all issues. The candidate is responsible for the issue until it is resolved. This is initially a 24X7 support model which will be streamlined to an on rotational support model as the group grows.

In this role candidate will be responsible for the following:
Managing incident queues to respond and resolve application issues
Identify and support critical monitoring opportunities through automation and analysis
Coordinate and distribute reporting and presentations to all levels of management and across LOBs
Develop relationships with application teams driving the monitoring strategy ensuring all business critical applications have standard monitoring instrumented
Document and publish standards and processes associated with the program and expand SharePoint presence in order to have an effective collaboration tool and one central location for all team resources and creation and maintain production support run docs for each application
Support capacity planning, application monitoring initiatives and audit compliance initiatives
Defining standards and processes for incident resolution
Mentor junior team members and on-boarding
On-call rotation for L2 and above production issues
Working on critical time sensitive objectives, milestones, and plans with little oversight from
manager
Communicate production incidents summary/resolutions/action plans with management
Bachelors Degree in CS, MIS or equivalent
Minimum 5 years support in a UNIX environment a plus
Minimum 5 years support of Java or .Net applications
Pega PRPC certification is required.
Strong SQL and database structure understanding
Support role on WebSphere/Apache/Tomcat a plus
Strong understanding of application interface technologies (MQ, FTP, SOAP, JDBC) and Mainframe
Understanding of object oriented frameworks
Strong communication skills (both written and oral)
Master of problem solving and natural dynamic thinking
Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis
