Company with the single focus of pairing the right candidate with the right employment opportunity, is currently searching for a Hardware Technician in the Lincoln, NE area. This is a Working Interview Program opportunity with one of our well known clients.
Overview:
Tier 1 support technician providing desk side incident resolution of workstations, printers, and peripheral devices.
Responsibilities:
Monitors and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware including Printers and software testing tools and techniques.
Under direct supervision assists with network hardware, Servers and software installation, troubleshooting, and support.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
Participates in special projects as required.
Assists with annual and ad-hoc physical inventories of IT equipment
Assists with security vulnerability remediation
Assist with support of Video Conferencing and Audio/Video equipment
Ability to provide small scale local cabling support - create CAT5/Cat6 patch cable
Hand-On Experience with Active Directory
Certifications AND/OR Education:
Associates Degree in a related technical discipline preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
ITIL Foundation V3, Comp TIA A+, Comp TIA Network+, and Help Desk Institute (HDI) Certification required or attainable within 6 months of hire date. (Company will reimburse for all certifications listed).
2 years of directly related experience supporting the end user
community

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
