We currently have an excellent opportunity for an IT Business Communication Developer Analyst in the IT Customer Communications Department. This
position
will require a variety of skill sets including the ability to construct document layouts and perform other related document assembly tasks in Thunderhead, an automated document generation platform. This position necessitates a beginner to intermediate knowledge-base of Java software development, with other languages as a potential substitute. The candidate will participate in the analysis and development aspects of identifying and gathering data to create transactional communications used throughout the enterprise. The ability to work with a team of individuals on a variety of time-sensitive projects will be a key role in this position along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position reports to the
manager
, IT Customer Communications.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
Previous experience or a minimum of three (3) years using a Document Generation platform such as, but not limited to, Thunderhead Now application suite.
Java development experience or other structured programming languages or development environment platforms is a strong plus.
An understanding of web
services
, message queuing and JMS and general connectivity in a Service Oriented Architecture is preferred.
Four year degree in
computer
Science or equivalent qualifications demonstrated by work experience.
Previous work experience with XML technologies, form design and document layout.
Ability to communicate clearly to both a technical and non-technical audience.
Must be able to work with internal business partners on projects and interpret requirements to deliver the intended business solution.
Ability to test solutions, troubleshoot problems and work in conjunction with other development teams on large projects.
Firm understanding of the various SDLC (Software Development Life Cycles) models.
General understanding of Windows operating system and basic office productivity software suites
