Procurement Buyer - Mechanical Systems - Cincinnati, OH

Seeking technically-minded individual with understanding of mechanical systems and components used in manufacturing equipment such as CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Press Brakes, Plastic Molding and Extrusion equipment.
Responsibilities:
Mechanical hardware procurement.
Solicit bid pricing from current and potential new suppliers of rollers, gears, screws, actuators, hydraulic clamps, chocks, platens, fasteners, etc.
Supplier relationship management.
Process approximately 30 purchase orders daily.
Partner with Engineers and Shop departments to ensure cost targets are met to optimize margin potential.
Present recommendations to stakeholders and appropriate corporate committees.
