This
position
largely interacts with equivalent levels of internal personnel. That interaction requires good communication skills and team work skills. Effectiveness in this job also requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to extract and interpret information from documents to recognize trends and similarities. Accuracy is required in performing all functions of this position; errors in work could cause delays in schedules and retesting.Works in an office and laboratory environment. Must be flexible to work varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed.
The nature of the operation's working environment is conducive to varying degrees of stress throughout the day.
Following is a list of major duties for this position. This is not an all inclusive list:
o Understand the requirements for simple and complex QC testing procedures.
o Update existing documentation with guidance from the technical experts.
o Develop a daily testing schedule for up to 5 functional QC testing areas.
o Coordinate and communicate across multiple departments to problem solve and manage complex testing and scheduling issues
o Optimize material flow into testing facilities to ensure efficient schedule attainment.
o Develop and document new and improved processes and scheduling methodologies.
o Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
o Provide support to QC testing groups.
o Coordinate and manage productivity projects as needed.
o Print documents and labels per the schedule.
o Perform final content review and transactions as necessary.
o Record and report performance to schedule
Job Requirements:
o Minimum of 2 years related experience.
o Strong communication skills
o Advanced Excel skills
o Must be customer focused, able to work under pressure with team
o Anticipate needs and problems while creating solutions
o Proven ability to consistently and independently follow policies and procedures; written and verbal instruction, and to meet schedules required
o Working knowledge of business
computer
software with logistics related databases desired and ERP systems experience
o Strong organizational, record-keeping, and data analysis skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Advanced degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering or other related discipline.
