Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that TBC maintains a high profile in the State of
wisconsin
as an Ethnically Diverse Business Development organization.
2. Develop short-term and long-term strategic plans in partnership with the Board.
3. Provide leadership in developing relevant programming with a focus on our Business Connection Program.
4. Manage and develop relationships with all stakeholders including CEO's, corporate representatives, ethnically diverse entrepreneurs, elected officials and the broader
community
5. Proactively maintain, retain and grow membership to meet annual goals set by Board of Directors.
6. Report to the Board Directors on key metrics to ensure federal, local and corporate policies compliance.
7. Develop diverse funding streams to maintain and grow our annual budget levels.

Specific Duties:
? Development and implementation of a strategic plan in partnership with the Board of Directors and key organization stakeholders.
? Manage our Affiliation and Relationship with MMAC and its affiliates.
? Responsible for marketing, communications and public relations of the organization including publicizing programs, member and organization accomplishments and other pertinent information that advanced the goals of the organization
? Develop, nurture and maintain effective working relationships with the greater business community, other ethnically diverse business associations and other community groups as well as local elected officials.
? Prepare annual federal, state and local tax reports to maintain compliance with regulations.
? Maintain sound financial and ethical practices to include GAAP standards, financial reporting, budget management, standards and processes for the procurement of goods and
services
.
? Develop an annual organization budget with the approval of the Board of Directors.
? Responsible for fundraising, grant writing, fee revenue identification, sponsorships solicitation and fund-development. Candidate is responsible for secure funding to maintain their position and to ensure proper funding to carry out the goals of the organization
? Conceptualize, design and implement relevant educational, technical assistance and supplier diversity programs solidly rooted on membership, formal assessment and surveying.
? Design and implement our Business Connection Programs including development of annual programming goals, corporate and ethnically diverse business recruitment, metrics and quality program monitoring to ensure program effectiveness.
? Recruit corporations for our Supplier Diversity Programs.

Minimum
Qualifications:
? Five to Eight years of experience in managing profitability and loss of an organization.
? BS degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Management or related degree.
? Nonprofit management and fund development experience is desired.
? Professional Experience in facilitating and managing groups.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
? Five years of experience working with small, ethnically diverse businesses, major corporations or a combination, thereof.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of group management, conflict resolution, team and consensus building techniques.
Ability to work with professionals at all levels from CEO to line supervisors.
Ability to design and implement complex programming using needs assessments and marketing research
Experience in fundraising, sponsorship solicitation
Experience in developing and implementing organizational Budgets.
computer
experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office Software and Recordkeeping Experience. Working knowledge of Quick Books a plus.
Ability to coordinate and facilitate structured Board and committee meetings.
Ability to maintain and manage our strategic alignment with MMAC.
Must have good presentation and business development skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule with some irregular hours.
30% Travel is required.

Compensation:
This is a full-time position with a base salary of $60,000 plus commission and a performance bonus. A competitive benefit packet is also offered.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
